Technical Writing for Busy Professionals

Do you spend a considerable amount of your workday writing? Most of us do, yet when it comes to writing reports, procedures, letters, or interoffice communication, too many harried professionals do not allow their computer to carry the communications burden these machines were designed to do. This course (which will be taught making hands-on use of computers) will teach you how to use your personal computer to manage your writing duties. Topics covered include:

  • Analyzing your audience
  • Creating a document template
  • Conducting a writing inventory
  • Designing more effective documents
  • Devising a document checklist
