Legal Studies: Paralegal Studies
LSU's Paralegal Studies Program is the State's only non-credit, certificate program approved by the American Bar Association. Students must complete eight academic courses, a 150-hour internship, court day, and a one-day legal ethics seminar in order to receive the Certificate of Completion. The program can be completed in one year as a full time student or take up to two and a half years as a part time student. All classes are held in the evening, with the exception of the Legal Ethics seminar and Court Day. Job placement is provided. For more information, contact Charlotte DesHotels at (225) 578-6760.
