COURSE TITLE:
Purchasing Principles Made Easy - 2009

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This program provides leadership staff with the Purchasing Process as outlined in TGH policies and procedures. Topics include Horizon Supply System (HSS), Purchase Orders, Vendor Relations, Minority Businesses, Contracts, Value Analysis Process, and Supply/Distribution.

OBJECTIVES:
At the end of this program, the participant will be able to:
" Implement appropriately the purchasing process for daily operations in compliance with TGH policies & procedures.

LOCATION:
Tampa General Hospital, Alpha Classroom, Organizational Development (OD), East Pavilion

TARGET AUDIENCE:
TGH staff in leadership positions as well as their designated personnel. Mandatory for TGH staff in management roles due to numerous changes in Materials Management and supersedes all previous purchasing training included in the Finance 101 course.

COURSE FEE:
