COURSE TITLE:  PCT Bring Your Lunch and Learn Programs - 2009

TARGET AUDIENCE: PCT's and NT's working at TGH

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
A class held monthly on a variety of topics to enhance job performance, satisfaction, and expectations of the Patient Care Assistant and/or Nursing Tech working at Tampa General Hospital. Schedule your lunch break and bring your food and eat while you learn about the scheduled topics.  All classes will be from 1200 - 1300.

The following are class titles and dates for 2009:

    January 15:  Infection Control
    February 19: Legal Issues for PCTs and NTs
    March 19:  Documentation for PCTs and NTs
    April 16:  Patient Rights for PCTs and NTs
    May 21:  Professionalism in the Work Place
    June 18:  Communicating Effectively
    July 16:  Cultural Diversity
    August 20:  Changes in Patient Condition to Immediately Report to RN
    September 17:  Code Blue Review and PCT/NT Role
    October 15:  Are You Ready for Certification Renewal?
    November 19:  Critical Thinking - What is it and how to get better.
    December 17:  A Pot Luck Holiday Lunch!

LOCATION:  All classes in Alpha Classroom EXCEPT July & October, which are in B-104
