Emerald Isle/Ireland Tour 6/22/10 - 7/2/10
June 22 - July 2, 2010; LOCATION: Emerald Isle/Ireland. INSTRUCTORS: Fitzgerald. Dr. Molly Fitzgerald, will escort and accompany participants from Chicago to Shannon, throughout tour, and from Dublin back to Chicago. See brochure for fees of trip beyond tuitiom fee. Explore and enjoy 10 beautiful days in Ireland learning about the culture, landscape, historic sites and traditions of Southern Ireland. The adventure includes stops at/in Galway City, Sneem, Tralee, KiIlarney, Castlebere, Kenmare, and Dublin. The 10 day tour will be lead by Irish storyteller and experienced guide, Batt Burns. (www.battburns.com) The trip will include breakfast and dinner each day in Ireland, guided tours, coach transportation to and from the airport and throughout Ireland, all attractions and entrance fees. Highlights are: Cliffs of Moher, Galway Bay, Connemara, Kylemore Abbey, Crystal Glass Factory, Bunratty Castle, King John's Castle, St. Mary's Cathedral, Killarney National Park, Village of Sneem, Sneem National School (elementary school), Beara Peninsula, Kenmare, Castletownbere, Glenfariff Bay, Tralee, National Folk Theatre performance, Dublin, Merrion Square, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Phoeniz Park, Abbey Theatre play, Trinity College, Book of Kells, Kilmalnham Gaol and many other unique components to this 10 day trip.
