Principles of Coaching 9/1/09 - 12/31/09
WebEnhanced/Online; INSTRUCTOR:  Wedige. You can register for this course anytime between Sept. 1 - Dec. 31, 2009 and work at your own pace.  Designed to provide the student an introduction to the sport science principles of coaching.  Topics include coaching philosophy, sport psychology, sport pedagogy, sport physiology, and sport management.  Successful completion of the course leads to partial or full certification in 40 states that utilize the course for certification at the High School level.  In order to receive certification, students must successfully complete the test and score a minimum of 80% on the certification exams.
