Plant Partners: Perfect Pollinators and Seed Dispensers
2/20/10 - 2/27/10
Come explore the amazing and often perplexing interactions among plants and animals in this two-day botanical workshop. One day will be spent at the Chicago Botanic Garden and another at the Notebaert Nature Museum learning how plants and animals have evolved together. Learn how plants have adapted to attract animals to pollinate their flowers and disperse their seeds. Discover how plants guard themselves from hungry herbivores. This course will engage participants in hands-on experiments and observations that will assist in the teaching of science.
Saturday, February 20 at the Chicago Botanic Garden
Saturday, February 27 at the Notebaert Nature Museum
