Alguna vez se ha preguntado por qué debe de tener cuidado y no lastimar la corteza de los árboles?
Cómo llega el agua desde el suelo hasta las hojas? Cómo puedo yo identificar árboles en condiciones de invierno o de verano? Venga y disfrute con nosotros el maravilloso mundo de la Botánica para dar respuesta a estas y otras interesantes interrogantes. En esta clase exploraremos temas como la importancia de las plantas en nuestras vidas, la clasificación y morfología vegetal; además tópicos específicos como polinización, dispersión de semillas y mecanismos de defensa contra hervíboros.
Have you ever wondered why you need to be careful when pruning trees? Pondered how water travels from the soil up to the leaves? Puzzled over how to identify trees in winter and summer condition? Come join us as we enjoy the wonderful world of botany and learn the answers to these questions and more! We will explore subjects such as the importance of plants to our lives, plant taxonomy, and plant morphology. We also will discuss pollination biology, seed and fruit dispersal, and plant defense against herbivory.
