Have you ever wondered why you need to be careful when pruning trees? Pondered how water travels from the soil up to the leaves? Puzzled over how to identify trees in winter and summer condition? Come join us as we enjoy the wonderful world of botany and learn the answers to these questions and more! We will explore subjects such as the importance of plants to our lives, plant taxonomy, and plant morphology. We also will discuss pollination biology, seed and fruit dispersal, and plant defense against herbivory.
