HRT133110 - Discovering Design 2/1/10 - 4/5/10
GDC requirement
Discover the process for designing a landscape.  This introductory course will identify a strong process for design, providing a foundation for using elements and principles such as line, form, shape, space, scale, balance, harmony, proportion, and texture.  Learn the basis for visually communicating your ideas through drawing in a two dimensional application.  Topics will include general design and color theory, with a focus on scenarios for floral, garden and residential design scenarios.  This course will be taught in an open studio and lecture format, providing materials for design portfolio.
