TRAVEL AGENT CERTIFICATE July 1, 2009 - June 30, 2010
Travel Career Development is the first of the two mandatory modules offered in the Travel Agent Certification Program. Using the Travel Career Development textbook published by The Travel Institute the student will learn how the major travel
suppliers – airlines, cruise lines, hotels, Amtrak and other rail carriers , etc – operate and work with agents.

Computer Reservations is the second mandatory module in the program and consists of the Sabre, Apollo, Worldspan, or Amadeus GDS systems. All students work in an emulation mode which works exactly like the carriers and travel associates computers.
